  • Get your high school diploma. Many radiology schools require this base education in order to enroll. The Bureau of Labor Statistics also suggests that students take classes in math and science, with a focus on topics like anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology, and physics.
  • Get an associate degree. The Associate of Applied Science degree is the standard for most radiologic technologists. You should also make sure your program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
